Creating Efficient Backups with Kopia

For years, I deployed the famous, mature but also unmaintained old Backup gem.

Looking for an alternative, I stumbled upon Kopia. Configuration was a breeze, thanks to their great documentation.

The only unintuitive thing was the retention policy, but there was a nice thread on reddit that explained it well.
